Run Challenge
Blaby District Council are launching a brand new British Orienteering activity Run Challenge on Tuesday 16th July at Enderby Leisure Centre from 6-7pm. There will initially be 6 challenges running on a fortnightly basis (dates attached) and cost £1 per session.
Run Challenge is a recreational running activity combined with a fun question and answer challenge. Aimed at individuals or groups of friends who are active and love getting outdoors, it not only trains your body it also trains your brain!
All the participants start at the same time. Using a simple map with points drawn on, the aim is to locate as many of the markers as possible in 45 minutes, and answer a question at every point. This could be identifying a post box number or a point of interest and each correctly answered question is worth 10 points. However, there are time penalties for being late, so you must choose the most effective route to find as many markers as possible in the time allowed.
No experience is necessary and you will be provided with a pen and map. Simply turn up 15 minutes before the start time and have fun!
Participants must be over 16.
